METU NCC Sports Administration offers a comprehensive Sport Club program ranging from Squba to Outdoor Sport Club. Sport Clubs fill the void between intramural sports activities and intercollegiate athletics.
Sport clubs give members of the university community and opportunity to participate in highly competitive sport activities, practice/learn new skills, and enjoy recreational and social benefits motivated by a common interest.
A sport club may be oriented toward competition, instructional, or for recreational purposes.
In addition to the Sport Opportunities that Sport Clubs provides, the success of the Sport Club program depends heavily upon the student leaders of each individual Sport Club.
These student leaders must have the initiative and drive to handle administrative decisions regarding their club, as well as motivate club members to take part in various activities.
